I got to know from a friend that the recruiter told them that Amazon is putting on a freeze to hire people who will require sponsorship. As per the email, it's a company wide thing and is applicable for current employees too. I didn't fully understand what this means. Any insights? Amazon folks? #h1b #amazon
H1b transfer is totally fine. Basically no company is sponsoring new visas thus students services are no longer required in this country.
The next biggest campus of Amazon is in India and can hire two people for the pay of one in US. These jobs are going to go out of US
Finally!
Amazon is practically an H1B factory at this point Americans don’t want to work there
What? Most of the SDEs at Amazon are very talented. They do not hire easily.
Is this a joke? Amazon is renown for being the easiest of the big tech companies to get into in terms of hiring bar. I get about 10 recruiters reaching out to me per week they hire en masse
“got to know” is Indian English for “found out” 🇮🇳 In the same vein, Indians say “got over” instead of “finished”. Context: Am Indian-American.
Completely irrelevant but cool!
Forensic linguistics 🕵️
Good. We need them jobs stay here.
This actually might do the opposite. Can’t hire enough talent locally? More offshoring coming to Hindustan and to other cheaper countries.
That's fine. Then leadership can RTT off shore
