If you are out of project for more than 30 days, they will send you back to India.
It depends on the demand for your particular skill and network you have within the company regardless of your past ratings. If you are willing to relocate / or have a client who is a long term HCL partner in general your chances are pretty good. But in general 30 days from the time your manager notifies of your project end plus 15 days in general bench is your time to look for next gig. If you were hired in USA you might be offered a position in India but not guaranteed. It depends on many other factors. I didn’t find any handbook or policy that listed above.

I have seen people thrown out for not finding a job within 30 days. Most of them are in demanding cloud technologies.
Agreed regardless of the skill if you end up in general bench for more than 15 for any reason they will chop you. But for in demand tech some account / group will block you and pay you till they find a role.. in covid times it could be different

How can HCL fire anyone? The bar for HCL I’ve worked with is obviously terribly low.
If you havent got billable role, you will get fired within 15 days. Its not performance based. Look its like working on contract except you arent paid like it.
Please don’t. One of the worst companies in entire solar planet.

They don’t fire as long as you are in client projects , good service based company you can work for if you compare with other companies
