HM reached out and we were both interested in moving forward. Folks from Meta who moved to Product leadership at Salesforce, how is your experience so far? How is the interview process at Salesforce? Recruiter isn’t able to share anything specific. Blind tax: 550K #pm #product
Director of product at SF is equivalent to what grade at meta ? E5 or E6?
E5
Assume you are L6 at Meta? You already making 150-200% of Salesforce Directors
L6 on track for L7 promo in Jan. Levels says Senior Director comp at Salesforce is ~480-500K. Recruiter said they may be able to match my current comp.
Might not be bad WLB if they match comp. Future growth will be lower but comp ain’t everything
My WLB is not great anymore (it was better years ago)
Are you a Dir/ Sr Dir or Product at Salesforce? If yes, would love to chat a bit more
Im interviewing for a director role at Salesforce however im realizing that this might be a down level as I'm a director now with direct reports and this director at Salesforce is an IC role. It seems to be at a L5 at Google and Google has reached out to me for L7 role in the past.....
Consulting work is not awesome at SF. Also, VPs on consulting side don't make 500k
I’m in the middle of the process as well for a director role. Feel free to dm

Would leaving my job be a bad idea for $100k+ TC?
Director at SF isn't a level up for you and tc is about half of what you make according to levels. Job titles don't transfer from company to company.
I understand that :) HM is interested in bringing me as a Senior Director and I’m not a Director at Meta atm.
