Def VZ. DirecTV hemorrhages subs and is not a good spot to be. At VZ Principal is closer to senior in most tech companies keep that in mind. With the $10k a year rsu you are close to $200k tc which isn't bad for Dallas.
Def verizon. You'll get 10k rsu additional and bonus is really 20% you get min 95% of the amt. Ask them to pay u more the band extends to 190k atleast

There is more room than 144. If I knew your exact title I could tell you how much more but you can def counter at 165-170 and still be mid range in the band. As someone else said your 20% bonus is realistic. Some years you may get 90% of the bonus but some years you may get 105% of the bonus. Also if your performance rating is exceeds you get 1.5x your bonus.

Do you know the name of the hiring mgr you interviewed with? The reason I ask is because some of the positions that involve security tend to pay more than the network engineering positions. The regular engineering band 6 may be 100-200k base where as the more specialized band 6 positions may be 130-240 base. Depending on your current job now wfh/wlb etc may be the money doesn’t matter as much but I will tell you this… Once youre in VZ you won’t get big annual increases so go for the gusto coming in. Once youre in expect 3% increases a year and nothing more.
DTV. A lot of opportunity to grow while moving off of AT&T. Concerned that your bonus is only verbal. DTV always hits or exceeds your bonus goals.
Verizon is good for work life and stability. Once you are in your annual raises are not more than 3-4 percent
The base for Verizon seems low. Even though they say they dont match, you can still say that you have better option in terms of money but you would really rather join Verizon without missing the opportunity cost which could demorale you in the future. I am sure they will come back with a new number and get ready to walk away. Not worth it knowing you have better options
Verizon won't match. Their first offer is there best offer . That is a good offer from Verizon . I had a coworker leave , to another company that offered 150 k as a a full stack developer and Verizon let him walk didn't even speak about matching to him. They just said good bye 👋
