I got PIPed for my disability. I do my work just like anyone else(honestly better than half). I can’t perform best in demos. Higher up thought I need to earn trust just based on few interactions that they had with me. Manager put me in focus. Throughout the process he kept blaming for nothing. Fired me finally. He just want to please higher ups. Don’t care about my work or disability. All he want is to please higher up by feeding me to PIP (yearly quota!). You need to talk a lot in demos and show up. If you have disability that prevents it, higher ups will chase you out. Don’t join.
Don't lose heart OP, good you got out of that place. Better things await you. DM if you need a referral.
Don’t lose heart. You’ll find a better place to work. I’ve worked at companies where we’ve had a disabled team member or two - and I’ve always seen them being supported and encouraged. Believe me, there are many workplaces out there that are way more sensitive and inclusive. Don’t let this experience make you lose heart. For all you know, this could be a blessing in disguise to move to a better workplace.
I am sure you enagage disabled people to do any house work—landscaping/cleaning/car detailing and dont care about the quality of work but still tip double?
As long as the disability doesn't prevent the work from being completed satisfactorily, why wouldn't you? There were a couple times when I took a Lyft (or Uber, can't remember) and it said in the app that the driver was deaf or hard of hearing. It's pretty cool that they have an opportunity to work a job where the app allows them to work around their disability.
OP couldnt perform his/her task hence
Try applying for google maybe? I’ve heard good things
Smells like a lawsuit
That’s horrible. Have you considered government work / contracting? They generally put in a whole lot more effort to treat people with disabilities better.

'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
Is this legal ?
Amazon forces every employee to give negative feedback on others in their team(mandatory). That’s one documentation out of many they do. I think it’s waste of time to fight with them. They managed to fire employees every year for decades with their unfair practices.
Reason I ask is . I am gonna be disabled soon . Not that I am interested in joining but accordingly to ADA the employer has to make reasonable accommodations. It’s the law. Just tell your manager you violated ADA and see how he reacts
