Do you think Reddit will add similar features to discord or acquire it? Discord is offering enough for it members to locked them in. Plus discord may start financial features like payments. I have noticed these members use Reddit for marketing and discord for their services operations and closed communications. Not sure how relevant this could be to FB, may be when its MAU grows on VOIP?
Discord has a higher valuation than reddit
Reddit can't afford to buy anything Facebook buying it would not make sense
How do people feel about the differences between reddit chat rooms and discord?
I love Reddit and love the folks working on the chat. I would not use Reddit chat while discord exists unless Reddit can create a discovery mechanism.
I think chat is great if 2 strangers want to talk further, but I feel like it stops there. Anything further and I usually move to discord

What do you think is wrong with a kid who got rejected by 9 colleges?
I think FB will be wary of any future acquisitions due to antitrust pressures
