Disney Infosec interview tips?
I have a final panel interview (technical) with TWDC Corporate for a Senior Infosec role. I've asked the hiring manager and HR what to expect, but haven't gotten anything helpful. Every team is a bit different. My team is all backend engineering. LC easy, LC medium if we feel we need it. Systems design related to the stuff we do. For the behavioral round, they made it obvious that they were worried about my Amazon experience. They didn't want me bringing that culture here. My org believes in "succeed as a team, fail as a team" and they don't put up with the backstabbing that comes from the stack ranking / pip culture of Amazon. We don't care who your favorite Disney character is.
The company is so big and things might be different for each segment. I did a 30 minute HR screen, just under an hour hour with hiring manager, and 2 hour panel interview with one person at a time for 30 minutes. Pro-tip: the short amount of time with each person will hurt you if you waste it. Be friendly but get started fast and stay on track. Also, be ready to name your favorite Disney character and say why it’s your favorite.
