Disney M2 Engineering Manager TC
What are the bands for Disney M2 Engineering Manager in HCOL area? Recruiter quoted 200K base, 20% bonus and about 40K of RSUs yearly. It seems really low. Is M2 equivalent to L6 in FAANG? TC: 400K YOE: 12 #disney
That’s a typical (maybe a bit high) M2 salary for non-tech companies

Okay this is a bs tc. They have hired from amzn etc recently - none of faang folks will leave their job at this tc. Total comp for L6 ~ M1 is at least 500k. What you mentioned is like 280, not even a comparable tc for L5. Couple of things that might be affecting: - location of hire - maybe they are lowballing ppl now given the macro climate, either way do the interview process before talking about salary
Maybe those guys were on pip or it was specific to streaming competitiveness
Double check on the RSUs. I thought it’s equivalent to a P5 at Disney, which has target refreshers at 60% of base in RSUs. EDIT: never mind, above is for M3
I don’t have any numbers for M2, but it does seem similar to p4
Amazon is top of bracket for pay outside of maybe trading companies, right? Disney TC is for sure lower.
