Hey y'all, got an offer last week from Disney at the P3 (I think?) Senior Software Engineer level, looking for an opinions on the offer itself and room for negotiation? I likely have competing offers coming in soon. Also, any insights on promotion process? I heard Disney has a strict YOE requirement for P4 Lead SWE promotion and growth is significantly more difficult compared to big tech. --- First Year TC at Disney: ~$241,000 Breakdown is as follows: Base Salary: $155,000 Annual Bonus: $10,850 (7% of base) First Year Annual LTI: $9,041 (35% of base, in RSUs, vested every 6mo over 3 years. First year prorated, so I only get 1/2 of the vest first year) Sign On Bonus: $20,000 New Hire LTI: $140,000 (RSUs, vested every 6mo over 3 years) YOE: 5 Previous TC tax for you feral Blind users o7: 144k -> 250k -> 190k #disney #disneystreaming #offer #offerevaluation #negotiation #negotiate
Remote?
Not 100% sure, but I believe I can be fully remote
No wonder why Disney plus sucks.. This is peanuts..
Sucks ass man. That's for senior?
Seems like their levels map better to L5 at Amazon tbh
Comp looks good. Give it a shot
Congrats. Do you know when the new hire RSU is going to be distributed?

Which team?
Honest question here, does the answer change based on the team? Should be in the streaming DE&E (Disney Entertainment & ESPN) Tech org if that helps
