Disney Talent Acquisition Team Sucks!
Although, I have other strong offers. I did multiple interviews in the past with different, and I got prompt feedback if it was good or bad. I want to call out to Disney Talent Acquisition Team. After getting positive feedback in my final interview (5th round), the Disney recruiter went radio silent. They need to understand, that candidates take out their time to give the interview and go through preparations. I went through 5 rounds of interviews (an hour each). I was leaning on Disney Offer after they have great benefits. I reached out to my recruiter via email or Linkedin, they leave you on read. No updates on my online job application status for a month now. I know people ghost you. But I saw a LinkedIn post from Disney -- Thank you Talent Acquisition Team (image below). No thank you! Talent Acquisition Team TC: 175K #tech

Yeah had multiple bad experiences with Disney recruiting. First I was ghosted and then rejected accidentally (there was a reorg, and they closed and re-opened the req under the new hiring manager. That caused me to get a rejection letter and since the recruiter ghosted me, I accepted another offer. Then the recruiter reached out to explain what happened). The 2nd time I went through all the rounds and got good feedback but due to a mixup they were considering me for a different role than I applied for. So that got shelved while they opened a new req, only to have the remote role changed to on-site in Orlando (they wanted to make an offer but I declined). 3rd time I didn't apply, they reached out and apologized for all the past mixups and things finally went smoothly.
100% agree. Multiple recruiters there were absolutely awful
