Disney consulting rate Senior PM
Received an 12 month+ contract offer through a recruiting company for Disney senior project manager. Based on the interview the position would be overseeing a program. Hybrid 2-3 days in office in orlando. Rate $92/hr W2 What is work environment and going rates at Disney for contractors?
I've worked with quite a few PM contractors. They seem to be brought in to work on a specific project and then either hired on full time afterward or let go. I guess it is a different approach to the PIP you hear about at other companies. I didn't realize they were W-2 though...I assumed contractors would be 1099. You will be treated just like regular employees for the most part but your ID will be green instead of blue, and your name will show up in Outlook and Slack with -ND at the end (non-Disney)
Indian recruiting company? If yes, did you negotiate on hourly rate? Example if the Indian recruiting firm says hourly rate is $90 per hour on w2 realistically you ask for $130 per hour. Let them come to the max on their own.
Yes. I started high but they said this is the set rate. They won’t do C2C either.
Disney doesn’t allow c2c that’s correct. Disney does pay 1.5x over 40 hours
