Honestly didnât care about Arielâs color the âlive actionâ movies havenât been good and the public is tiring of them, regardless of Arielâs skin color. Maybe if Disney came up with some new ideas.
Sebastian and Flounder in the newest version were more offensive to me than black Ariel. Way to remove any personality from them. The lack of the chef song was also đ. The Awakwafina song that replaced it was terrible!

Disney to me sucks. Grew up when it was all cartoons. Donât care for the live action things, itâs all a cash grab without new content. Pixar seems to be the better side of Disney with new content outside of the never ending comic book hero movies that never seem to end. The little mermaid I have no desire to see it. Donât care about the actors in the film. Itâs a byproduct of Disney not coming out with new content anymore. Wait 4-5 months and itâll be on Disney+. Kids wonât care outside seeing it at home anyway
