I know at amazon recruiters write notes on your LinkedIn profile for other recruiters to see the last time you interviewed and the feedback. we do that on your profile as well within Amazon Hire. Do FB recruiters do the same thing too? It’s been a while that I’m trying to get a hold of the FB ones but I can’t. I interviews with a f88ktard idiot from Instagram about a year ago and I don’t know what that sucker wrote on my profile … TC $400
Is there such functionality? Imagine : i am a recruiter in FB, I write "never hire this guy". Can anyone see this note?
Wait how does this work? Can the employee view this?
Most Amazon recruiters are too lazy to make notes, or don't care as most resort to spamming vs reading profiles
Yes. I can confirm that. I had an initial engagement with them 5 years ago and details were recorded in their job portal. Remember they are a data company.
This is common practice. We do this at Workday as well. Only recruiters WITHIN the same company can see the notes (eg workday recruiting team can see notes written by each other, but won’t be able to see FB notes)
Finally, 1 sane person explained, thx. P.s. I can only imagine what people wrote on my profile with some firms lolz
Which part of me wasn’t sane ?
This is normal within the LinkedIn recruiter product. Recruiters add notes so that they can reference it later for themselves and others. I was a HM at a startup and got a paid license to access the notes. Used it also to calibrate with the recruiters for the candidates I was looking for. These notes are not accessible outside of the company or to people within the company who didn’t have a license.
