To clarify, do Salesforce AE's have the ability to sell the flagship CRM product as well as Mulesoft, Tableau etc or are the product lines heavily siloed and you are hired for one product line only? Curious as Salesforce is clearly looking to take on Microsoft in the enterprise cloud space across multiple domains with their last few acquisitions. I'm sure things are still being worked out as the dust settles, but curious what their org structure and vision looks like at this point. #ae #enterprise #sales

If you are a “core AE” you own the relationships, the contract and have ability to sell all products. The cloud specialists sometimes call co-primes or cloud sales focus on one product. You work together as a team to serve your customer and sell them needed solutions. Core AE and cloud sales both get paid so no infighting.
