Health is a private issue (so it's their right to privacy), but if your company (with coworker consent) doesn't inform you - that's a dick move.
I'm sure they can dance around it without exposing PII
My answer was technical: is that a right or not. And yes, in my opinion, they should find a workaround.
Covid isn’t even the biggest killer in the US Do you have a right to know if your co worker is Obese? Obesity kills more. Or a smoker? Or has cancer? Or has HIV? Get a life
🤫 shhh. You’re making too much sense for the panicky. The news said everyone is going to die. We’ve lost 0.01% of Americans to COVID. This is SO scary.
Rofl this argument would make more sense if you can prove obesity is transferable to other human being via respiratory system
what my gf's company did was calling only those who had close contact with the infected employee (although i'm not sure how they came up with the list) Others knew someone got it but didn't know who it was exactly. I think it is fair.
Same here
The employer has a responsibility to inform people who might have come in contact with the infected person. But, they also have to protect the identity of the person infected per law. So, you can’t know the names but you should be informed that you are at risk.
That’s how contact tracing works
People who have tested positive for covid will float, and do you know what else floats? Ducks. So if a co-worker weights the same as a duck, then they should be burned. I'm joking of course. Go back inside and leave your co-workers alone.
Just the close people who could have been in contact.
HIPPA and stuff
They don’t need to tell who the person is, just tell someone is.

Is it good choice to buy cyber truck now ?
Hasn’t everyone been working from home anyway?
Eventually we will go back...
Umm. But the expectation is that there will be close to 0 cases around in the community at that time
