Feels like employers are always looking for full stack dec positions. Do full stack engineers rly exist? Or are they just frontends that know how to create restapis or backbends that have written htmls.
I can do full stack. I think if you build a product early enough you would know
Full stack exists. Why call those poor people ponzis. What harm have they done except go up and down the stack
They did no harm. It's just that employers exploit this role and make the person do two jobs and only pay 1 salary
The harm is - you have 5 years per life to spend studying something. You can spend 5 on BE or 5 FE, or 2.5BE and 2.5FE. Full stack works for lame 3 tier, but once you need anything complex on BE or FE they are incapable of doing that right. It's like asking Junior to design Twitter, most likely you end up in All SQL solution instead of using search engine
