Do FANG companies file for L1A for people who are offered M1 manager roles after relocating? I know you need to be working at the foreign office of the company for a year for L1, but do you also need to be an M1 there for a year for L1A? And assuming you were M1 there, are FANG companies open to filing as L1A, or they prefer it for M2 and above?
You donβt need to be a people manager to get L1A. A lot of process managers can come with L1A too, like a PM, PMM, etc.
Right, but I'm a senior dev. Don't want to become a PM all of a sudden. So only option is M1.
Thereβs also L1B then
My understanding is that if you manage a process or you are responsible for a program or product that qualifies as Manager or Excecutive for L1 visa purposes.

Is meta really worth the wait?
Yes, they file L1A if you are M1 in another country office and they are relacating you.
