Do recruiters contact you if you ask them to contact after a few months?

I'm not yet a complete year into my current job but recruiters ping me often to check if I'm available for new opportunities. For most companies, I'd pass but for companies on the same tier or better than MS, I'll ask them to contact me after some time. Can I expect them to call me in future or will they move on with other candidates?
