When you're promoted at Google, do you get anything additional to your normal bonus / refreshers? How do they calibrate you to where you belong in the band?

No, and you belong in the bottom of the band because you just got promoted.
So what happens next? No raise no stocks in that focal cycle? Doesn't make sense
A little bump on TC. Promoted guys earn much less than hired guys on same level. That's true almost anywhere.
