For example comparing : L6 vs M1 at Google E6 vs M1 at FB L6 IC vs L6 SDM at Amazon. Assuming you made a choice one way, do you like your choice now , or do you repent it ? What have been the pros and cons of your choices vs the corresponding alternative ? Have you moved from one of the above to another ?
Regret choosing the EM path. People are so hard and it's much easier to code.
How hard is it to switch back to IC?
Mind sharing some concrete scenarios?

'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
I regret going the IC route. I managed a few years ago and said I’d stick to being an IC for a while but I find being downwind of bad choices frustrating.
Not sure how it works at various companies but in general I presume it would be difficult to go from one role to another. Though have heard Uber / Amazon have a program to prepare for managerial roles. Perhaps FANG has such programs too
At least at Cruise it isn’t difficult in the comparison sense: they’ll move you over if they think you can do it. The problem is finding a team that you want to lead so I probably won’t do it unless my boss happens to quick, then I’d push to step in to his job. When I was at FB you could fairly easily move to M0 but it was very manager/director dependent.
