I feel like I’m saving forwards a FIRE goal especially as double income no kids, but it feels like a waste to not work. Feels like there’s so many cool companies or start ups, but the work grind is always a concern. What’s your FIRE number and do you plan on retiring once you hit that? #personalfinance #investments
I’ve Seriously considered this, but the costs of healthcare (in the US) could be absolutely crippling as we / our generation ages. So make sure your personal financial models account for this. Be careful.
I live in Spain, I'm still not sure what's my number but probably not more than 0.5M. These numbers seem insane to me.
What’s the monthly budget for a family of 2 in Spain
My monthly budget is <1500€ for one person, I would guess one more person would increase rent by 100 for a slightly bigger place (though two people could live here) and 200 for food and other necessities. Also, more than half of that is rent which is higher than it could be since I chose to live close to the office. After retirement I would own something a bit further from the center, so costs would go down a bit.

FIRE related posts on blind make me want to throw up.
Why ?
