Do you still recommend join snap? META VS SNAP VS ORACLE

Currently working in Azure Got an offer from snap, Oracle, META, ORACLE . yoe:3 Considering Snap TC ~380k META: ~360k with refresh Oracle: ~300k heard that the pip culture is getting worse in SNAP. I am on working visa, not sure if I can survive since L4 band is so large with the pip culture. wondering if this is one time thing or yearly thing. Got 140 approved, concern about what's the perm status in META. Current tc: 200K #snap #meta #offers #pip

Really? snap got forced 10% pip, but meta only pip you when you got 2 MM in 2y. And it’s more reasonable for perf review in meta vs snap.

AFAIK at Meta if you get 2 consecutive below average reviews you are gone, and they are on 6 month review cycle. In general they are much more aggressive with letting low performers go. At Snap you really have to suck at what you do to even get to the PIP stage. This whole 10% thing wasn’t even applied in the last two years. Anyway, getting PIPed out shouldn’t be your top concern while joining a new company, you should evaluate overall culture and leaning opportunities as well.

I vouch for this. Spent a year at snap. Management is terrible. The ics are not bad but the management is the worst in the industry IMO

10% quota is real but there's no proof that all of those people are pipped. Meta psc culture is pretty bad too. Oracle just sucks

As someone marked as a bottom 10% low performer, what I know is even you are not piped (yet), be ranked to 10% will make you under a very bad position. They will send you a doc with very harsh comments, and because of that I am already actively interviewing now. So in my opinion, it doesn't matter if we pip all the 10% bottom performers, even you are lucky and not get piped yet, you will still be under lots of mental pressure especially if you are on visa.
