PTO is not necessarily always better. For one thing, you may not be able to coordinate your day off with that of your family and friends to take a trip together.

Amazon started having MLK day off starting this year. What’s the catch? December 31 isn’t an off day anymore. So which holiday will you take in lieu of June 19 off? Or is it no strings attached additional day off? In this case I’m quite sure even the scummiest of the KKK folks will be happy to have it.
