I am having hard time trusting a portal by linking all my bank account passwords but it helps keep track of your accounts in one place. Do Blind folks use it or it's not worth it?
It keeps thinking Robinhood transactions are random categories it's not.
Intuit is generally solid place I think? Gotta be secure since they handle so much tax stuff Also I pretty much used Mint since I started using cards, and it's crazy how better I am at this stuff than most people. I almost always knew how much I have and also how much I spend on gas/grocery/etc
The convenience for me is worth giving up some personal data and a small risk of getting hacked.
Intuit can not be trusted. According to dark web post, recently, its tubotax product has been hacked and millions of tax filings could be exposed
Personal data is least of your worries If you give away your bank credentials willingly and the third party run away with your money, the bank won't refund your money. If Mint gets hacked and you lose your money, the bank won't refund your money. Just know this before your give away your credentials
Ya trusting someone with bank credentials seems like a bad choice. I am thinking to use it without linking my accounts but updating the portal manually once every 3-6 months to keep a tab on my financial growth. That's a kind of risk I am willing to put.
Such a shitty product. How come no alternative?
So much transparency
