Does Airbnb send out rejection emails?
Kind of a silly question but I applied for a role at Airbnb a couple of months ago but haven't heard back at all. As far as I can see the role is still open. Have I been rejected and not been told ? When I applied before I got a rejection email so kind of curious Tc 130k
You’ll be rejected explicitly if you interviewed and failed. Otherwise you won’t receive one
Okay kinda similar to apple or Google then I suppose . Do you know if this was implemented recently? I def got an email a couple years back even though I didn't go through any interviews
Not sure I’m in engineering not recruiting. I think referrals get a rejection email not sure about general applications. The resume screen is extremely picky though we’re not interviewing many people.
Try reaching out to the recruiter maybe?
No one's ever reached out to me after I put in my app and when I try to reach out to recruiters at Airbnb on LinkedIn no one replies
Oh you haven’t interviewed for it yet. Yeah, I think it’s 50/50 on whether you’ll hear back. Similar to a lot of the other tech companies.
They do. I received an email that I wasn’t suitable for the role and should apply for other jobs.
