Does Amazon blacklist after first interview?

I applied to a role at Amazon and it still appears as “submitted” on the site, however, an Amazon recruiter reached out to me directly to interview for a DIFFERENT position and I did. It was only yesterday so I havent heard back yet but if I end up not making it past the first round, will I be blacklisted from interviewing with another team for 6 monthes? I’ve read mixed things.

What I've heard is there is only a waiting period if you don't make it past the on site. I failed the phone screen first time and had a different recruiter reach out a month later.

A "blacklist" doesnt exist There is no wait time associated with not making it past resume review. Usually "cool down" times occur after onsite and even then it's not a concrete policy. It will all depend on your feedback if you get onsite.

does recruiter see all other applications submitted by the same candidate? And could the recruiter influence those applications? (and would there be any notes that goes with the profile for future applications made - should different recruiters had seen the profile and rejected the resume?)

^^^ yes I laugh when I find candidates with 500+ applications, but I kinda get where they're coming from. I also read notes about interactions. If you're unprofessional to a recruiter, that will be on your profile and can affect future opportunities.
