Does Amazon have a max base salary of 160k?
Is it true that Amazon has a hard cap on base salaries of 160k for engineers? Do they inflation adjust that cap ?

185k max in bay area.. $160k max in rest of the US.. the numbers might be off by plus minus 5k.. but you got the point.. no inflation adjustments made till date.
