Amazon recruiter has reached out to me via LinkedIn for management role. Even though my LinkedIn still says Senior Software Engineer. Should I engage with the recruiter? Yes, if the team is smart and wants to play PiP-ageddon correctly it is important they have victims at the lower levels that can be bought for the twice annual “who is the slowest of them all”.

All depends on how your interview goes. I had a tech lead on my team become a SDM at Amazon.
In Bloomberg Tech Lead is Team Lead(Engineering Manager) My official title is still Senior Software Engineer.
