Does Apple only have flaky people on staff?
3/3 attempts I’ve had Apple recruiters cancel just before an interview or reschedule an interview and just ghost. Annoyingly frustrating
Other than Meta, most big tech recruiters suck and are just trying to hit their quota

Every time I’ve engaged with their recruiters it’s the same pattern - I apply to a role listed as seattle, they call and try to get me to interview for Cupertino, and when I refuse they promise to get the seattle recruiter to call. At that point there’s no follow up.
Interesting, most ghosting has happened after an initial recruiter call….. I guess I was not appley enough. Good to know ty

didn’t know they had recruiters, never got reached out to in over 10 yrs in the industry
I have phd + 10 yoe crapple recruiter nor their managers has ever had the balls to reach out to me to chat. They add me a lot but that’s the extent of it
never even got added perhaps they have some way to tell that i wasn’t interested lol even though I’ve migrated to apple ecosystem after companies started issuing Macbooks
