It does help you learn stuff... but OP’s question was does it help in getting a job. If I’m a hiring manager I won’t give 2 hoots on whether someone took a coursera class.

Obviously it helps you learn stuff. I have learnt a lot just from porn videos.

I think it helps in terms montivating you to complete the course and cover one subject area completely. However, no direct benefit in hiring process.
By itself? No. Now if you actually learn something from Coursera, that might help.
