I just saw this headline "Elon Musk calls for 'anyone' left at Twitter who can write software to meet him, or fly in, to help him 'better understand' Twitter's tech" https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-remaining-twitter-coders-engineers-email-2022-11?amp It took me many months to fully understand my teams systems and even longer to suggest good ideas. Why does Elon think he can just kick down Twitters door with money and be it's saver if he doesn't understand how anything works?
He’s tearing Twitter down to startup size, but $44B is way more valuation than a 1000 person startup is typically worth.
It still has 80M US daily users? Its now a super successful, but overvalued startup at 44B
It has enough users to sway governments. It's power and value is in reach. Once it has payment processing and storefronts it'll be bigger than Amazon, like WeChat
You sound jealous and butthurt
And you sound like someone who’s been busy working overtime with the billionaire boot licking
Look how triggered you are. Is that healthy?
bring back the blue checkmark. here's my 8$
Elon, like all of us, will fail when he runs out if money. Elon, unlike us, will never run out of money.
Always suckers out there that will give him more.
He probably understands it better than you would given the same amount of time to ramp up.
True and he works weekends
TWITTER TWITTER ELON ELON AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
When these kind of things (non technical person making decisions) work, it's because they have someone who knows what they're doing come in and explain what needs done. Then the non technical decision maker just says "Ok let's do that then" and takes the credit afterwards.
The biggest sign that Elon doesn’t understand Twitter is trying to charge for blue checks. Twitter is valuable due to its platform for verified people of note to interact with themselves and the public. Removing blue checks from important people and giving them to just anyone kills that value, especially when it no longer even means it’s verified. Why would you kill the value of your platform for a relatively small subscription revenue?
It’s not about the revenue, it’s about the verification.
Elon specifically said it’s about revenue. It _should be_ and _was_ about verification until Elon’s changes.

BREAKING: Internal sources confirm another round of layoffs just hit emails at Tesla. For real.
"Before doing so, please email a bullet point summary of what your code commands have achieved in the past ~6 months, along with up to 10 screenshots of the most salient lines of code." This alone proves what a dope he is when it comes to software.
Tf does that mean lmao
