I had my last interview a week ago. My recruiter wrote to me asking when I got time for a phone call as he received my feedback. What has been your experience? Does Google reject via phone or via email?#engineering #software #swe
Yeah. I'm too excited. The anticipation is killing me ๐
No problem ... Totally understandable .. Happens with dream MNCs and their slow process.
When it was an offer for me, the recruiter told me immediately in the mail. Rejections were phone calls without prior information.
Makes sense. When I passed the first interview, he messaged me via email. Too bad this time. Oh, well. Next year then....
My recruiter rejected over email. They never talked to me on the phone during the entire process.
When I was made an offer a few years ago, the email didnโt include any information and the feedback was positive. I would assume it was because recruiters donโt want to look like theyโre promising anything in writing in case something crazy changes (that they canโt control). Hope it goes well bud!
I was rejected. :(
Dang. Sorry to hear. Keep your head up.
If good news, then they will schedule a phone call. If bad news, then they will call you at the end of the day(usually Friday) and tell you that they are not going with you this time(1-2 min call usually).
Theyโve scheduled a phone call to tell me bad news before
Thatโs just a waste of scheduling time.
Phone for both, except sometimes they do it via email Post your tc btw
