Does KLA still have remote positions?
Quite a few positions I see open that match my background and interests but I'm just not able to relocate. Do they do any remote for SWE positions still? 3-6 YOE in semiconductors, looking for software engineering or anything to do with simulations.
No more now, the most funny thing is if you select your status in remote then the manger will change it to on site without any notifications
So if you were Remote your manager will just change to Onsite without asking you?
No, per my understanding. Remote work is usually not allowed any more unless there are open roles stating the same.
Thanks! That's a shame, there's some computational modeling roles that align with my PhD research and interests but if there's no remote at all then it saves me some time applying.
I think some managers will let you request remote
