Asking because a few Blind posts suggest that it does, and the Blind reviews of Lyft mention high attrition and give management a poor rating. Curious if it has forced attrition
😂
Lol gotta love open polls on anonymous forums. Apparently 42% of blind are Lyft employees. Lyft does not do this ya dum dums.
The poll should be biased toward Lyft employees because I only tagged Lyft so that active Lyft employees on Blind will see this. Hence, it's possible that not many employees of other companies have and/or that others didn't bother voting.
Its definitely not about firing people, but the 1-year grant makes it very easy for the company to basically force you out when necessary. You are going to be on the edge of your seat every February/March. I hit my cliff and went down more than 45% from last year. One day the company can just decide they are done with you, even if your previous ratings were all SE. I think its pretty obvious the company wants to downsize and either permanently remove or just backfill a lot of senior roles. Comp this cycle was a huge step backwards for a lot of people. Many roles are getting outsourced to Eastern Europe (including Belarus/Ukraine…). Really brilliant strategy.
Why are they still offering so much money to new engineers? Makes no sense to me when they are trying to become profitable and massively out-pay Uber for engineers
Nah it’s not that bad. Last years grants were extra big because grants were based on the average price from 2020 which was super low. My TC as a high performing T5 this year is about 500k. Can’t complain.
Whatever, Lyft had only 2 instances of Layoffs... Once in peak COVID... Later, they paused hiring for a long time and laid off recruiters. I am not aware of any other layoffs ever.
Lol PIP at Lyft... That got to be a joke 🤣
Why do so many of the Blind reviews say that there is high attrition at Lyft?
Seems like people leave voluntarily in huge droves at every vest. When I was at Amazon all our vests were random months so it made it difficult to resign. But Lyft has the same vests for all employees
Why is there so much attrition? With good career growth, comp, and WLB, I don’t see why so many would want to leave
One year grants and engineers above the senior level being underpaid in their eyes
They don’t have to. People are quitting.
Where is popcorn ?
You know there’s an option to “view results” right?
Where’s the option to express love for popped corn?
