Yes - the office is a WeWork in FiDi. There is food (basically a catered buffet line) - and snacks.
What’s like a typical menu
Admittedly not a lot of variety from when I was there - Greek, Mexican, salads, etc. Essentially anything that could be served buffet style was fair game. It wasn’t uncommon to get there a little late and some items would already be gone.
Yes. Yes there’s food. No, 60 hour weeks are not common among the majority of teams and as far as I’ve seen there’s a push to put a stop to any team that expects this.
Data & infra teams can easily pull 60h a week once you toss in all rando interruptions that can pull you in outside of bussiness hours even if you’re not oncall or run. No one expects it to be the norm or likes it, but when you run systems that have to run 24/7 but were built in a time of 1/10th current traffic…
