For people who primarily watch news/politics on YouTube. Do you find the clips YouTube gives you are heavily biased. E.g. after watching a few clips of anti woke and Fox news I got a lot of anti woke/ anti democrat videos. Then I cleared by history and started fresh and watched one CNN and one MSNBC video and now my feed is more or less the opposite i.e. anti Trump, anti DeSantis and pro woke. I really hate it that I can't get clips from both sides e.g. if YouTube believes I am interested in say the woke agenda in schools, I would have expected it to present both sides, but for me that never happens unless I go searching explicitly. YouTube always throws me into a certain camp. What do you think?
I want no algorithm. Just a way of predictably watching videos of the channels I care about and avoid all distractions. The assumption of the algorithm about me wanting to consume more and more is wrong.
