Does applying as a contractor hurt your chances of getting in when applying fulltime?

I've been getting reached out to by some FAANG companies for contracting roles recently. I've only worked as full time and have no interest in being a contractor, but I think some of these contracting roles may be good warmup interviews. My only concern is that applying as a contractor may hurt my chances of getting into these companies for full-time in the future.
