My work history is like this: 1.5 years at coinbase (layoff) 6 months at company B (layoff) 9 months at company C (currently work here) I have an offer to boomerang back to coinbase where the pay and perks are much better. Would it look good on my resume to boomerang? I can explain that I was laid off but was given an offer to rejoin because I had a good relationship with my manager. I have had recruiters and managers question my short stint, I'm wondering if taking the boomerang offer will stop my short stints from being a red flag
2022-present is a weird time for tech employees. Recruiters will understand.
Recruiters never understand. Someone close to me just got ghosted by a recruiter after the recruiter reached out to them. It’s a shit show
At a glance at the resume I'd assume you couldn't make it outside your old job. Unless it was a super prestigious place. Then I'd assume you couldn't find the same elsewhere and went back.
I didn't consider it could come across that way
I went back to Coinbase. Some recruiter told me it looks good
Hey what’s the boomerang policy?

Cleared Amazon onsite, but lowballed.
Ur bias is showing in your survey I’d say.. there’s no negative option ..? Some people might think it doesn’t look good to boomerang
Honestly I never considered that it could look bad
