Does gap between jobs matter?
Thinking of quitting and taking a short break before applying to new roles externally. What resume gap will affect the job search negatively? YOE:3

1 inch gap in resume should be fine. Beyond that will look awkward.

It is fine. Seen some linkedin profiles where people took some break after 4 years and joined back. The break was like 6 months, 1 year and 2 year.it is ok. Go for it.But on other note, heard msft is chill. Cant u prepare on job

Yep depends on what you're doing. Go do nonprofit work and help others during that time. Social impact matters.
