I don't think switching to MSFt for 10k more makes sense atleast in near term.
I think software companies are always better long term than hardware.
What’s the yoe and location at AMD and MS?
3 key reason you should consider moving: 1. Better immediate role and responsibility at new place where you will add something to your profile 2. Current place is toxic or doesn’t offer growth 3. High TC Remember, you will have to reestablish trust and shine at new place to get any lead role. It can come much easier at present place if you push for it as you are already familiar with WoW and hierarchies.

You probably know better but I believe AMD will do good at least for the next few years. According to Intel roadmap, they will catch up tsmc process by 2025. This is IF they can execute their plan with no slip. So I guess you have few more years to enjoy there. At the same time, MS seems to be doing pretty good too. Negotiate hard and firm, jump if the tc increases significantly. Current increase wouldn’t make sense Imo.
