I am 5+ years exp software developer in storage domain windows space mainly worked on c++ but I get calls only for kernel hacking which I am not. So kind of confused how to change that? Whether to keep preparing for interviews until I crack or learn something new do some project on it and project myself as somebody who can do both. Any thoughts or advice? Whether doing these courses are worth?
I know someone who completed the udacity nano degree on ML and got a job.
Was it an ML Eng job? Desirable company? In my experience, this only happens if they already had the credentials (degree, Senior engineer).
It’s a engineering position in a robotics company/team, never heard of the company. But the person did not have related experience prior to getting this position.
Sure.. thanks for the inputs 👍

If you have no portfolio or if the right keywords aren't on your LinkedIn profile, it will help you start. This will inevitably lead to more recruiter contact Passing resume screens and interviews is a different story though
Ya I agree that’s a different story but what I wanted to understand was doing courses like this will it help even for someone who already has work experience and looking to change domain.
