Don’t listen to Blind for career advices
People here seems to be focused on TC. TC is fine but the worst part is that the collective views are really short sighted. Examples: 1. People who used to say Meta >> Apple literally 6 months ago are now Apple >> Meta because of the stock. Sentiment changes very fast here (ex. ChatGPT is the next Google and Google is doomed!! Kind of a claim as well) 2. People say 2 more years of industry experiences are better than HBS (Harvard Business School). They don’t care about the potentials afterwards 3. Throw buzzwords and buzz companies without even knowing what they do (ex. Databricks is so cool. Scale AI is great! That startup hires MIT people and is highly selective. That is a rocketship. Look at Quora) Don’t listen to Blind TC: 320k
You forgot humans are not always truthful and will embellish their TC to make themselves feel better about their lives.
I see Blind as just a form of therapy for people to vent and sometimes, feel good about themselves.
