DoorDash Ghosting
Hey fellow Blinders, anyone have any recent experience with interviewing at DoorDash? I had an amazing telephonic interview wherein I solved the problem well within time with about 10-12 mins left to talk about edge cases and just general catching up about DoorDash. This was a week back, no reply from the recruiter even after a follow up email. Should I give it more time, should I send another email or let nature take its course? #doordash #ghosting
Same experience. Interviews went fine but haven't heard from the recruiter despite sending a follow up email. Interviewed over a week ago

Just move on, we might think that a company owes us a special treatment and updates as they value candidate experience—reality is very different.
Same here. On-site went great about a week back. But no response from the recruiter.
Hurts even more that it happened after on-site.
The interview process is your first impression of the company. You're right we're not owed anything but it's basic decency to at least let the candidate know whatever the outcome. Job hunting is stressful process as is. I prolly would not want to work at a place that treats its prospective hires this way
Gotta say I’m pretty surprised from interacting with recruiters recently and in the past.
Could be a lot of things. The recruiters are pretty buried right now so might be that, might be that it didn’t go as well as you think. Could have been a red flag they saw that you don’t realize. Could be they’re just behind and will follow up. Could be there recruiter you were working with left and they haven’t caught up. Eventually they will get back to you.
