Hello! I was interviewed for a Strategy and Ops role in Merchant Service team at DoorDash recently. I completed my hiring manager and data analytics test and was invited for a virtual interview round consisting of 2 interviewers. Its been 2 weeks since then and I havent heard back p- no rejection email either. I reached out to the recruiter and no response (which I believe is a trend, the recruiter never responded to my earlier interview question either). Has anyone has a similar experience? I thought DoorDash is expected to move quick. At this point I am just assuming its a reject and moving on. Share your thought. #DoorDash #StrategyandOps

Super professional if they are gonna hire you but when you're out of favor they treated you like a number
There's a lot of growth in the S&O org, so they might be swamped. My process moved relatively quickly at DD so take it with a grain of salt
Thank you for the insight. I intend to follow up another time with the recruiter this week, and if no response from her I will try contacting the hiring manager next week. Lets see.
I recently joined and the process took a long time. I was the “front runner” but man did it take weeks. I never reached out to the recruiter though. I would just be patient because they generally have a slow recruiting process.

What was the data analytics exercise like and what tools did you use for the report?
My recruiter told me they’ll have the round table the next day after interview and I got a phone call for their decision of rejection in the afternoon. It’s an Eng role, BTW. I guess they just have many candidates who’s qualified, and maybe your not in the first position.
Understood. I was hoping they at least have the courtesy to send a reject. I will follow up one again this week and then just leave it.
Just completed the same loop in the merchant team. @dqHk83 if this is a tech role what is the expected comp??. I literally have no idea on comp and banding at all
