DoorDash vs Databricks
Got offers from both Databricks and DoorDash. My top priorities are: learning opportunities/transferable skills > career growth > compensation Numbers below do not include bonus DoorDash (SF): TC ~180k USD Databricks (Canada): TC ~150k CAD Would love to hear people's thoughts on these two offers. Poor culture at DoorDash, keep that in mind as well.
Negotiate with Databricks. It pays around $220k for new grads in US. Your TC is almost half of that. Get them to at least match your Doordash offer.

Sure it is.. but I have seen Canadian offers to be usually around 30-35% of their US counterparts, after currency conversion. So $180k CAD fits right there.
how were the interviews at DD? They still asking tagged LC hards?
One DP question, but the question itself is simple DP; LC tagging most of the DP prob hard does not make sense to me lol
Thanks, one last question, did they ask you for reference checks? Ik they do for senior+ but not sure for grads I've reached out to managers for one on facebook with another company but one of them isn't replying so I'm kinda scared lmao
150k will go way farther in TO and they'll both give good learning opps

Toronto is nonetheless WAY cheaper than SF.
