Senior engineer at both these companies. TC is similar. Both around 500k Dropbox pros: seems extremely employee friendly with great wlb And the benefits are awesome They’re going after Docusign, which is a huge business with great margins so the company looks quite enticing Cons: they need to execute with the hellosign acquisition. They are making a profit now, but have to see how they do in future Uber pros: market leader in its space Cons: interview process and people I interviewed with seemed very unhappy and chaotic. It seemed all the engineers were primarily being overworked IC4 vs 5b

Dropbox really doesn’t have a future.
Why do you say that?
They are mainly a cloud storage service. Currently, the most popular ones are iCloud, Google Drive, and OneDrive. They all integrate so well with their own ecosystem that most people would pick one of them over Dropbox. There is no way they can significantly increase their user base. They have a chance to get acquired by a company like Salesforce. But even then, Dropbox does not have a pool of users that they can tap into like Apple, Google, or Microsoft.
@OP what’s the split up? Did you negotiate?
Offer breakdown
You might get more for 5b. Ask them. What team in Uber?
Wlb isn't that bad here
Which team?
Uber direct
5b should be much more than 500k.
How much can I negotiate to?
Also, does Uber have fully remote policy ?
