The days of doing 2-3 full time jobs at the same time without reporting to your employer is coming to an End. Equifax has collected data on all US firms and will start selling this data to other companies for potential dual/triple employments. The first step was to use this data internally and they fired 23 people as part of this exercise and terminated many contractors. https://archive.ph/xc8ja https://www.businessinsider.com/equifax-fires-employees-for-working-two-jobs-2022-10
Not good
Whenever the little guy finds a way to make the system work for them, the big guy has to fuck it up.
I never consented my data to be used like that
This is the US. Your consent is not required
@Google is incorrect. In fact, this is the US, and we have laws governing consumer reports. These laws grant you the ability to freeze Equifax’s employment data collection and reporting. All you have to do is fill a form out.
This is likely the least evil thing equifax has done with personal SSN’s this decade. They literally leaked everyone’s info and got no penalty.
