I made a mistake while taking a Codesignal proctored test - use noise canceling headphones out of habit.
In hindsight, the proctor might not allow this since they can’t tell if someone is talking to me through the headphones.
Am I f*cked?

I don’t know what Codesignal is but have done tons of PSI remote proctored exams. The proctor is there to enforce the rules of the program. If the rules say you’re not supposed to have headphones and they didn’t tell you to take them off, the proctor didn’t do their job and I would point that out if they try to disqualify you. If they do, I’d at least demand a free retake.
