Is the fb location menlo park? Year 1 tc is 😍. Wow! Can u pls tell prep tips? 2 yoe here as well
Yes but planning to go remote in LCOL/MCOL after bootcamp. My base will go down but other components of offer will stay the same, per recruiter. Prep: 1. Leetcode (did 200+ over 6 weeks) 2. Systems design (mostly watching YouTube) 3. Prepare stories and examples of scope/leadership/mentorship/conflict/feedback based on my time at Amazon for behavioral interviews
How the hell did you do 200 in 6 weeks
Although Chime is a great place to work. but I think with FB on your belt you can go to Chime like unicorn later with higher TC.
Holy shit that's a good E4 offer
You need to consider fb yearly refresher, which chime does not have. Chime' tech is too old, like other bank. They use ruby on rails, no fancy ai, search, suggestion, not at all. I will vote for fb unless you get chime l4.
Fb still uses php 😂
stripe, sq, instacart etc uses rails. fancy ai, search for what purpose? and chime isn't a bank btw.
Were these the original offers or updated numbers after negotiation? Thanks!
After negotiation. Used an even higher offer from a bad WLB company to negotiate them both up.
Both great offers, you can't go wrong with either one. DM me if you have any specific questions about Chime.
@OP How many days facebook took to declare the onsites results?
Chime just closed a round at 25B, which maybe makes this closer
90 seems low for Chime
90k at the last valuation. Internally they speculate it would be closer to 180k if it were re-valued today. I also told the number of RSUs to a few Chime employees and they said it was pretty close to the max for an L3 offer.
Are these options or RSUs?
