What y'all think of Eros stock? I am asking here because it is an indian company and we have a lot of smart indian tech folks out here :) There is word on the streets that Eros is merging with STX, can anyone confirm? With a number of Bollywood movies in their belt, will Eros be able to compete with Netflix and other media content makers /platforms in indian streaming war games?
Merger is old news now, no effect on stock
Looks like they will have a new CEO. Positive in that sense since the current team was ineffective.
I bought Eros when it was 11 and I also bought it when it hit 1.2. Seems very volatile in last 1 year. I have been selling it anytime it’s above 3 and buy it when it’s below 2. Indian paid subscribers seems to like Netflix than Eros so I am bearish on it from that sense; but Eros also makes very good Bollywood movies. Growth of total subscribers on Eros now has been really good from past few years. They have been doing good partnerships with lot of companies . These are all good news so why is stock still so low? That’s because they cooked books last year and didn’t made payments on their debt, due to this credit rating was degraded to I believe junk. Hence stock tanked from like 10-11 to 3-4 within a matter of days. This was last year.

Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
I had subscribed to Eros Now for an year and apart from Metro Park, they didn't have any noteworthy content. My outlook of that company is negative.
Thanks for your answer. But with merger with STX, I am sure they can bring more and better content on the platform? Also with Covid-19, movie theaters will not draw the same crowd, so maybe Eros will focus more on their streaming platform and might release their new content directly on it? Kind of what Disney+ is doing with their movies during lockdown. Thoughts?
